I’m intrigued by these Jeffrey Campbell Arizona boots in Blue Lustre. What do you guys think? The low heel makes them practical for everyday wear, but that color keeps them really special. On sale for $89.95 at Karmaloop.
Ok, how cute are these “Starburst” booties by Jeffrey Campbell? Finding a cute ankle boot with a low heel & a rocker edge has become my mission lately. Mission accomplished? Love them!
$140 at Revolve Clothing (Also available in Black & Red at various retailers). Also referred to as “Northern Lights” booties at some retail locations. The bad news is that it seems like almost everyone is sold out of these…

Tonight I had the honor of speaking alongside three other San Francisco fashion bloggers at the second annual SFFAMA Beauty Expo. The event was a three-part deal & I spoke during the Bloggers Connect, with fellow fashion bloggers Rabbit Foot Fern, Style Bust, & Eclectic a la Mode.
There was a ton of press at the event &, since I am currently as obsessed with cameras as I am with shoes, it was quite exciting to see everyone’s equipment.
Here are the lovely ladies I had the honor of sharing the stage with. Alison, Molly, & Nicole.
This is Owen Geronimo, who is the founder of SFFAMA & a brilliant PR super star.
The event also included a model boot camp hosted by Charleston Pierce & a face-off between seven teams of stylists competing for the best in hair & make-up design. I didn’t actually stay for the entire event because the first half of my day included some pretty intense estate sale-ing, followed by some pretty intense picnicking & wine tasting with my family. That’s right! Living it up!
Totally unrelated to this event, but related directly to the estate sale mentioned- Keep an eye on the store in the coming weeks. I cannot begin to describe the enormous amount of fresh vintage that’s going to be hitting as quickly as I can get it listed.
I hope everyone’s having a good weekend! xoxo
Solestruck just released the Jeffrey Campbell 99 Tie in Silver Glitter. The 99 has been one of JC’s most popular shoes & this glitter version is absolutely on trend. I like them & I think it would be fun to style some outfits with them, but I probably won’t cough up the $140 to buy them. How about you? Do you like the silhouette? What do you think of the glitter shoe trend?
Also released today was the Jeffrey Campbell Uniform in Gold & Silver Glitter. Quite a bit more practical, with the low heel, but I’m not typically a jazz shoe kind of gal.
I wish they would do something in between the big platform & the flat man-ish jazz shoe. If they did the Nation boot in gold glitter, I’d be all about it. What say you?
UPDATE: The 99 Tie was just released in Pewter, Red, & Multi. Check em out!
The Pewter pretty much looks like the Silver to me, but if you want to check out out here it is.

I’m ba-aaack! Did you all have a great New Year’s Eve? We celebrated with our family in Pismo Beach & rang in the new year somewhere between 2:00 am & 3:00 am. I’m used to being awake at that hour, what with the insomnia and all, but it’s much more fun to have people to talk to! Anyway, we are home now so let the blogging resume.
Yes, these photos are taken alongside the freeway. A bus stop on the 101 North, to be exact. I wanted to mess with some long exposure night shots, so here’s what I came up with.
Oooooo, I just spied these cheetah printed platform ankle boots by Jeffrey Campbell on Solestruck. They’re called Wonder 2.
What do you think? You know I love them.
These “Jesmeen’s“, on the other hand, I’m not so sure about. I like the individual details, but they’re kind of looking a little kitchen-sink to me.
Shoot. I really love that pleated situation on the top. What say you?

One of the great things about having your own shop is you can borrow cool pieces for a quick morning photo shoot. Today I finally decided to offer up this incredible vintage leather trench coat. It has a fabulous a-line shape, almost like a swing coat. This is one of those timeless pieces that pretty much works with anything. Available for $54 at Nickie Frye.
The sweater is by French Connection who makes the best sweaters, by the way. I scored this one at Marshall’s. They last forever. Look for them. You won’t be sorry.
The French pleated lace skirt is also a vintage piece available at Nickie Frye for $32. This is another timeless piece, no?
Strict black-on-black is a bit too dreary for me, so I added a pop of color with these Wilma hot pink pony fur boots by Senso. How amazing are these boots anyway? It looks like Solestruck just restocked them!
Temperatures are fluctuating here in California, so I’m thinking about layering. Today I layered a fabulous vintage leather vest over a fabulous vintage bell sleeved cardigan, over an even more fabulous vintage printed blouse with a cute neck tie. The blouse will be available in my shop later this week & I’m considering selling the vest too. Either way, I have a HUGE load of fresh vintage to list in the coming weeks. Check my shop for availability.

If you’re looking for a super affordable cowboy ankle boot, these from Forever 21 might do the trick.
